RE: Wisconsin 2008 Spring Rally- May 9th - 11th
Well, I know we don't come on here too often, so a lot of you don't know Dru or I, but I wanted to say that we are sorry that we will not be able to make it this weekend. :( Dru has a Horse that is pregnant and should have foaled a couple of weeks ago.....it hasn't and we cannot leave on a trip until she has it, and Mama and baby are found to be OK. Her horse is 23 and she wants to make sure there are no complications......by the way, we got her while she was already bred. (not MY idea!) :) SO, we will try again in the fall.......

What do you have to do to join the group or attend the next rally?
Just by posting that message, you have your opening into the group. Keep up with the posts and you will get to know some of us real well. There will be a new thread real soon for the Spring Rally that will take place Mother's Day weekend 2008. In order to attend the rally all you have to do is sign up once the new thread is posted. It's nice to welcome newbies to the thread and to the rallies. (They're always so suprised when it comes to the initiation!! :E:B)
Yeah, we are still recovering from initiation...................and it was LAST year!!!! :E:h

Dru and I had a great time as well. Lance was a total PIA but he's a dog and doesn't quite understand "socialization". Sorry we didn't venture down to the big circle more. We were just relaxing, something we haven't done much as of late. It doesn't mean we were being unsociable, we left that to Frank!!! We did have a great time around the big fire on Sat nite. The beer was flowing and the Apple pie (drink) was delicious. The deserts were fattening, something I should have passed on, but woe is me..........the pumpkin squares were to die for.....Thanks Sue!!!!
Overall a very well put together rally, the Brats and Beef sandwiches were a genious idea!!! And they were very yummy too!!!!! We really enjoy getting together with new people and rekindling the friendships we have made in the past. Ya'll are a great bunch of people and we are already looking forward to next year. We just need to get this 'work' thing figured out :)
